Richard Clarke: A new American Patriot speaks truth to a lying administration.
|
 |
Compare schoolboy Bush to Richard Clarke, our New American Hero.
Any fool, except maybe a diehard RRRR fool,
can tell that Richard Clarke, unlike Bush, cares about being truthful and honorable: when Clarke is asked a question, he gives
an answer intended to be precise and complete; when Bush is asked a question he gives a response that is the closest canned
answer his maundering brain can find. Never is Bush's answer direct; Clarke's answer always is direct -- even when it may
cost him.
John Kerry's name could be substituted for Clarke's in the above and it would be almost as true. I say "almost"
because, as a professional politician, Kerry instinctively is more sensitive to possible unintended consequences of his words.
Kerry is "nuanced," where Clarke is "blunt."
The RRRR, thinking we are all as stupid as they are, call it "flip-flopping"
when someone is able to see two sides to an argument, or perceive a change in the state of the world.
"A foolish consistency
is the hobgobolin of [Bush-like] little minds."
